A Season of Success with AGnVET RURAL: A look back over 2025 with AGnVET RURAL
As we say goodbye to 2025, AGnVET RURAL would like to reflect on a year focused on our people, our customers, mutual profitability, and sustainability.
We're Bringing Skin Safety To You
A skin check clinic roadshow was hosted by AGnVET RURAL in May, June, and July 2025. AGnVET RURAL partnered with Nicole from Sol Check Skin Checks to bring FREE skin checks to our team members and valued customers.
At AGnVET RURAL, we recognize the importance of skin safety; these skin checks are extremely valuable for the team, customers, and rural communities. The skin check roadshow accommodates up to 28 people per day with a free full-body skin check, a sample of sunscreen, and a referral to a GP for any suspicious lesions. Very interesting results were raised from the skin checks, see the data below.
AGnVET RURAL is pleased to offer these free skin checks through 2025 and promote skin cancer awareness by taking preventative measures.
Supporting Students in Agriculture
AGnVET RURAL is honored to have the opportunity to support young individuals within the agricultural industry. AGnVET RURAL has supported several events throughout the year that encourage young individuals and students to explore career opportunities within agriculture.
These events include taking students from UQ University through a Metagen lab, attending the UNE Armidale Farming Futures Careers Fair, and the Agricultural Science Society UQ Careers Fair.
AGnVET RURAL hosted a group of students from the Agricultural Science Society UQ for a tour of the Metagen lab and production facility in Gatton, QLD. AGnVET RURAL partnered with Pursehouse Rural to take students on a tour of the Queensland-based Metagen facility, where they learned about the development and production processes of biological products for Australian agriculture.
Careers day hosted by UNE Armidale and the Agricultural Science Society UQ are a great opportunity to support universities and network with students about careers within agriculture.
AGnVET RURAL understands the importance of supporting a range of rural communities, and we are proud to have the opportunity to support a diverse range of rural initiatives.
AGnVET RURAL Photography Competition
The 2025 AGnVET RURAL Photography Competition was back in 2025! This year’s theme, “Australian Grown” aimed to capture a vast collection of images from the Australian landscape, life on the land, and much more from the paddock.
This year, our judges were blown away by the number of incredible submissions that we received.
The 2025 AGnVET RURAL Photography Competition was supported by the 2026 AGnVET RURAL calendar. 12 lucky winners received a place on the calendar. Our winners received a great range of prizes, ranging from gift cards to AGnVET RURAL branded drink bottles!

In the Paddock with AGnVET RURAL
In 2025, AGnVET RURAL hosted several events to support the community and our customers. Events include the AGnVET RURAL Theodore Charity Golf Day and the AGnVET RURAL St George and Queensland Cotton Charity Golf Day. Both charity golf events were a great day on the green, raising much-needed funds for rural communities. Additionally, throughout the year, various branch events, field days, workshops, and BBQs were hosted by AGnVET RURAL branches.
As we head into 2026, AGnVET RURAL remain committed to our purpose of helping customers be more efficient, productive, and profitable. Throughout the year, AGnVET RURAL will continue to uphold our core values of Respect, Reliability, Resilience, and Responsibility.
