AGnVET RURAL provide FREE skin checks for valued members of rural communities
Over the months of March, April and May, AGnVET RURAL branches held a free skin check road show for our valued customers. Over 11 days and covering all branches from Ayr, QLD to Wee Waa, NSW. Over these past weeks, a total of 220 participants took part in this initiative for a 15-minute skin check by a certified melanographer.
Each participant, including AGnVET RURAL customers and AGnVET RURAL team, experienced a skin check by Sol Check, Workplace Skin Checks, extensive education and an information booklet on early detection and sun safety, and a referral to their doctor along with images of any suspicious lesions provided instantly.
AGnVET RURAL is proud to have provided this opportunity to our rural communities to raise the awareness of regular skin checks. We understand the importance of sun safety and we hope that we helped raise this awareness one appointment at a time.
A special thanks goes out to Nicole from Sol Checks, who travelled to each AGnVET RURAL branch to perform each skin check with care. Thanks to Nicole’s expertise, a total 62 referrals were made for suspicious lesions!
